Prime Minister's Rural Digital Education Campaign is a dynamic and integrated platform for digital literacy awareness, education and capacity programs that will help rural communities to participate fully in the global digital economy. The PMGDISHA examination for "Direct Candidates" has been implemented for all the general candidates who want to get the PMGDISHA certificate. There is no need for candidates to undergo any special training or to contact any training partner for this examination. Register directly as a candidate The applicant must do electronic KYC and agree to the terms and conditions for becoming a beneficiary in the PMGDISHA scheme. The data of the candidates will be shared with the exam agencies only for the purpose of certification. If a candidate wants to separate himself from himself, then e-KYC will not share the data for issuing a CSC certificate. Such data can only be stored for audit purpose according to program guidelines.


PMGDISHA Objective

PMGDISHA Eligibility


  • Entry criteria Beneficiary should be digitally illiterate
  • Only one person per eligible household for training will be considered

  • Priority will be given to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, BPL, Women, Individuals and Minorities
  • The beneficiaries will be identified by the CSC-SPV with active cooperation with the DGS, Gram Panchayats and Block Development Officers. The list of such beneficiaries will be made available on the plan portal.
  • The implementation of the scheme will be done with the cooperation of the States / Union Territories under the overall supervision of the Electronics / IT Ministry, through their designated state implementing agencies, District e-Governance Society (DGS) etc.


Training process


The training program is for 20 hours, which is to be completed in minimum 10 days and maximum 30 days.

Training partner


This scheme envisages the affiliated institutions like NGOs / Institutions / Corporates, who are willing to provide digital literacy training as a training partner with the CSC-SPV under the fulfillment of the laid norms. Symbolic norms are as follows: -


  • A training partner should be an organization registered in India, conducting business in the field of education / IT literacy for more than three years and the permanent income tax account number (PAN) and accounts of at least three years of accounts Happen.
  • The institution / organization should be registered under any law in India, for example, in case of a company, it should be registered with the Registrar of Companies, in the case of society, it should be registered with the Registrar of Societies and so on etc. .

PMGDISHA role of training partner



  • A training partner will be responsible for the appointment or appointment of training centers in identified districts / blocks / village panchayats, who will provide digital literacy training to the beneficiaries.
  • A training partner will be responsible for ensuring that training centers adhere to the PMGDISHA requirements.
  • A training partner will be accountable for monitoring the overall functioning of the centers coming under its scope.
